Microsoft
Chief Executive Satya Nadella has
sold his home in the Seattle-area for $2.775 million, about double what he paid
for the property more than a decade ago.
The 1960s home in the Clyde Hill area
came to market in January for $3.488 million, offering a glimpse inside the
renovated residence that the tech executive bought in 2000 for $1.385 million.
The 4,050 square feet of space is
distinguished by strong lines, polished concrete and ceramic floors and exposed
steel beams. A two-story wall of glass centers on panoramic views of Lake
Washington, Mt. Olympus and downtown Seattle.
Two floors of living space include
open living and dining rooms, a family room and an updated kitchen with vibrant
wood cabinetry and an island/bar. A second-floor office/loft space overlooks
the living room.
The contemporary-style house in Clyde Hill, Wash.,
features walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, open-plan interiors and panoramic
views.
There are four bedrooms, three
bathrooms and two fireplaces in all.
French doors off the main floor open
to rolling lawns and landscaping. A two-car garage sits off the entrance.
